Colin Miller,
FCPA, FCA
Colin is a Partner with KPMG in Lethbridge. A large focus of Colin’s practice is assisting agricultural clients in implementing reorganization plans for tax, succession and estate planning purposes. Colin currently publishes monthly articles on various agricultural tax topics in The Western Producer.
Reid Wilkie,
LL.B
Reid Wilkie has been with Smith & Hersey Agribusiness Law LLP since 2012 and was the founding member of Smith & Hersey's Consort office. Reid’s practice focuses on working with agriculture clients in Alberta and eastern Saskatchewan on real estate, wills, estates, and corporate/tax for all types of clients. Reid works closely with farms and ranches of all sizes. Reid also operates Smith and Hersey's Oyen branch.
Riley Honess,
CPA, CA,
Riley is a Partner with Thomson Group Tax Specialty Services in Lethbridge, Alberta. Thomson Group is a boutique tax firm that consults with accountants and clients across Western Canada on Canadian tax matters. Riley focuses on implementing tax strategies and restructuring corporate groups in the Agricultural sector. He acts as an advisor to the board of a major feedlot operation in Southern Alberta.
Joel Bokenfohr, MFRE, FEA
Joel has sat at close to 1500 kitchen tables, Joel helps primary producers and farm families make decisions on transition planning, farm management and business structures. With his extensive agriculture and financial background, he works with entrepreneurs, and agriculture industry advisors to create solid business and transition plans. Joel continues to farm in Sturgeon County, Alberta, with his family.
Joel holds a degree in commerce and management from MacEwan University, a master's in economics from the University of British Columbia.
